Hi all

Belated ANZAC greetings from NZ.

The photo is of a New Zealand artilleryman and a mate.  The Kiwi is the grandfather of a friend of mine.  He was in France April April 1916 to the Armistics and the question has been asked about the aircraft.   Can the experts identify the make/model?

Many thanks

Andrew

Hi

Avro 504, usually used as a training machine.  The man on the left appears to be wearing a RFC 'maternity' jacket and Sam Browne belt, so probably an officer or WOI.
