Remembered Today:

Cloth & arms badge

battle of loos

Recommended Posts

good morning,

I would like to know if there is a document or a site referencing all the "Cloth - Arms badge" used during the First World War.
whether it's copper or embroidered models.

Thank you in advance.

Kind regards

Michel

Forum member Muerrish has written one of the the key if not the key reference works on British Army Trade and Appointment Badges both cloth and metal. I think you could find a copy on the internet. He also wrote a limited edition soft back booklet on WW1 trade and appointment badges. I am certain he will respond to your thread.

As Mark says, this is the book that you need Michel: https://www.abebooks.co.uk/servlet/BookDetailsPL?bi=30335802376&cm_mmc=ggl-_-UK_Shopp_RareStandard-_-product_id=bi%3A 30335802376-_-keyword=&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIgqDKw5v56AIVUsreCh170QkmEAkYASABEgKzK_D_BwE

It is the cheapest one that I can find online as it is out of print.

Thanks Frogsmile. I could not recall the exact title being absent on duty from my library.
