I stumbled upon this little jolly on-line for those who like these things - FLAMMENWERFER des deutschen Heeres bis 1945 by Fred Koch, at: http://amicale.3emedragons.free.fr/Docs materiels WW2/Waffen Arsenal 154 - Flammenwerfer des deutschen Heeres bis 1945+.pdf

Wish Bob Lembke was around for comment...:(

Although not online, the exact same journal is also published in English.

Waffen-Arsenal were published through the late 80s and 90s but only a limited proportion of the titles were duplicated in English.

I believe that they are now out of print.

Of some use then? Although auf deutsch!

The pamphlet on minenwerfer in the same series is excellent.

I must try and find that - one of those areas of WW1 on which I am rather blank! Is it the same author?

Thanks Egbert! Off-topic, I hope that you are not on a boat as you often are seemingly this time of the year?

Well, depends on size of course... A boat can go on a ship, but not vice-versa. The largest ships I worked on were the Seabourns', and to them the World Discoverer was indeed a boat! I guessed all sea-based tours were cancelled by now except for those already out there. I have two mates in the travel industry and they are land-locked.

But back to Flamenwerfer and Minenwerfer, Abe books don't have any copies, so I guess these Waffenarsenal publications are pretty rare...

Yes Julian and I think the price that I linked is a good one. Flammenwerfer traditionally are transported by boats, Minenwerfer by ships:ph34r:
