I think there's only up to No. 66.

I would guess it must be 33 or 34?

There's an MH106 record for him on FMP that shows admission to 34 CCS in 1916. Is the 334 from another source?

His MIC shows four units with corresponding numbers. Have you tried searching for service/pension under all numbers? Card says dis[charged]. Perhaps WFA ledgers?

As Tew has posted, he was admitted to 34 CCS on 25/8/1916.  G.S.W. Accident. L.Knee.  Discharged to Duty. 30/8/1916. He is recorded as serving with C.Coy. 1st Batt. S.W.B.  Aged.33 B.1883.

He enlisted 29/8/14, was discharged 7/8/19 (30/8/19 FMP.), awarded S.W.B. No. B284940. Sickness.

His medal rolls on Ancestry are under his A.S.C. No. T/364907, his M.I.C. is under Thomas Watkins - T364907.  So it looks like he went.  SWB - Liverpool Reg. - Labour Corps. - A.S.C.

I think he may be -

HMS Vivid and HMS Vivid II were the Devonport shore establishment; Vivid II was the stokers and ERAs School.

Wikipedia (I know, I know) says HMS Medusa was an elderly cruiser on harbour duty until a destroyer of that name went into service in 1915.

Usual term - what is unusual is skipping to the army before his time was up. Unless he developed real problems with sea-sickness?
