mark holden Posted 6 April , 2020 Share Posted 6 April , 2020 A fellow collector asked if I would post these pictures of a pair of what appear to be 1902 pattern ORs trousers. There appear to be period construction traits that suggest WW1 vintage double stitching to the pockets. There is an odd French or Belgian stamp to the inside and no other markings. These originated from an amateur theatre company. Opinion most welcome. Regards Mark
MURAT Posted 6 April , 2020 Share Posted 6 April , 2020 Hi, Traounez was a french costumer for theatre or movies. You can find real ww1 or ww2 uniforms with stamps "traounez" in french collections. It looks like a good late war pair of british ww1 .trousers . Gerald

As a non-collector of uniforms can I ask if they are seriously considered as a good example? With one leg cut off and large repairs visible. I understand that they are rare.
