PLEASE don't all rush and start downloading things - it'll only crash the site then I won't be able to download mine....;)

Yes it is very good news. I've spent quite a few £3.50s in the last few days.

Wise words Peter. We are likely to have plenty of time unfortunately.

Excellent! Now all I need to know is what's on NA and not on FMP or Ancestry. Now can I remember Venn Diagrams?

Nope.

Huh! Quite apart from this thread falsely raising people's spirits, the tradition is that "jokes" should be attempted only up to midday.

April Fools Day etiquette

When I was a lad we were told that any "joke" made after then rebounded on the perpetrator.

Doesn't appear to an April fools when you look at the N/A twitter - unless they're planning on keeping it going all day long...

For example, as of an hr ago

Sorry Lads  today is April the First

SeaJane is reprieved - TBH I did wonder whether she would try a "joke" like that.

Has anyone seen Ray recently ...

He "last  visited" us just 28 minutes ago, so he must know that we're after him.

I'm sure that we all want to apologise to SeaJane, who was here just an hour ago and probably is wounded that we doubted her. After all, one can usually trust a librarian.

Good news for those doing RNR research.

I wonder if the RNVR ratings' records in ADM 337 will be free to view? If I understand correctly, only a subset is available via FMP, via their "Jutland" conglomerate dataset.
