MERLINV12 Posted 31 March , 2020 Share Posted 31 March , 2020 No doubt we have some Black Watch experts on here, I would like your help please. Which battalion/companies were with the 1st Batt Northamptonshire, 2nd Battalion Sussex, and 10th Battalion Gloucesters during the attack on Hulluch (Loos) on 13th October 1915 ?? 1st Batt Northamptonshire WD gives battalion details of Sussex & Gloucesters, but not the Black Watch for some reason, need to read relevant Black Watch WD for trench location/information on 13th Oct 1915. TIA.

From a quick scan, CWGC would suggest most deaths on the Loos memorial that day were from 1st Bn. Craig
