pictishtreasures Posted 29 March , 2020 Share Posted 29 March , 2020 Hi All, Finally getting round to scanning and documenting some of my collection influenced by Corona lockdown. Attached are some postcard images which may be of interest for those researching. 3 are from St Leonard's Hall in Edinburgh, an 18thC mansion, now part of the University of Edinburgh. It was a Red Cross Hospital during WW1, nearby Prestonfield Gold Course, hence the golf clubs in one of the images. One of these postcards has correspondence from a nurse called Katie, dated 17th September 1915. There are some recurring faces between the images, particularly the matron. Also attached is an unusual postcard showing a sale of work at the Victoria hospital in 1917. Thanks Ross
