On behalf of a friend, I'd be very grateful for a photograph of the headstone of S.A. (Stephen Augustus) PITT at plot G.34, if it can be got.

Thanks ever so!

Hi,

I'll be able to do that in a few days, depending on these days travel restrictions. Sending you a PM.

Hi SeaJane,

The date of his death suggests that he was Killed at Nebi Samuel. This is the last day that the Cameronisns held this position, before being replaced by the 2/19th LR.

I will be more mobile in two months, if I will not lose my sanity by the two small kids at home, by then my professional gear is at your service.

Assafx,

Thank you, that's most kind. I had wondered which battle he was involved in.

(and thanks to Eran also, whose PM I have replied to)

A few pictures of Nebi Samuel as it is today. Assaf took me a tour there a couple of years back and it was an incredible tour he conducted.
