crackingbloke Posted 28 February , 2020 Share Posted 28 February , 2020 I could do with some help here. I've been looking at an officers medical report on Find my past. He recieved a gun shot wound to the wrist, it must have been a decent one as he was hospitalised for 94 day's then discharged (and it states0 to Russia, this with a discharge date of 1 Jan 18. On 25th March 18 he is again discharged to 53 Cadogan. Same description of wound and same hospital, QAMH Millbank. Any suggestion as to what 'Russia' and' 53 Cadogan' mean. I have reason to believe that having recovered from his wound that he joined the Labour Corp, which might be the later, but I'm quite confident that he didn't spend any time in Russia! Thanks in advance for any response. Guy
TEW Posted 28 February , 2020 Share Posted 28 February , 2020 Probably St Mary's Hospital, Mayfair for 'Russian' and Gerstley-Hoare Hospital for '53 Cadogan'. See Lost Hospitals. TEW

crackingbloke Posted 29 February , 2020 Author Share Posted 29 February , 2020 That is really really helpful. I'd realised that he had not been sent to Russia but had no idea at all that it meant another hospital. Very many thanks Guy
