Can anyone tell me when the number 1203 was issued.

I'm researching a soldier (9th Battalion KLR) who died in May 1915. I don't know when he enlisted.

Any help would be appreciated.

If you are referring to Charles Tyrer he enlisted 8/6/1909. Territorial. Mobilised 5/8/14. To BEF 12/3/15.
Some of his papers have survived.

Wounded GSW right leg Richebourg 9/5/15.

The direct cause of death was tetanus

Thank you for your reply, this information is from CWGC but doesn't state his enlistment date.

I appreciate you trying to help, thanks again.

Thank you so much for this. I didn't find his service record when looking on Ancestry.

Your help has been invaluable in piecing together the fragments of information I already had.

Thanks again.
