May I draw attention of members to the Friends of the Buffs. This is a relatively new group whose aim is to keep alive the memory of the Royal East Kent Regiment - The Buffs. There are various activities which will include a battlefield tour to Arras later in the year, and a regular newsletter. Details of the group and membership details can be found here http://friendsofthebuffs-rekr.com/.

The "About this site" is top class! And that address!

The final tinkering with the site has I admit to be completed. But I suggest you read the content which I think you will find illuminating. Anyway we are trying, all volunteers.

I would be interested to talk to you about your grandfather.  My uncle was in 13 KRRC from 1917 to 1919.  I also have connections with QORWK.
