RNCVR Posted 16 February , 2020 Share Posted 16 February , 2020 An Army (possibly 2WW?) Trade badge I would like to have ID'd pls, I dont collect Army so do not know their Trade badge designations. It is likely Canadian as it was sourced here in Canada. Thanks! Bran
FROGSMILE Posted 16 February , 2020 Share Posted 16 February , 2020 I don’t know for sure, but in traditional Army parlance a solitary letter T would usually refer to Transport. That said, it is not a badge that I recognise.

Could it be Navy? Telegraphist, perhaps. It’s not necessarily Army.
RNCVR Posted 16 February , 2020 Author Share Posted 16 February , 2020 No, its definitely not Navy(RCN), I would know as been collecting RN\RCN for over 50 yrs! But I did receive a good response on the Badge Forum - it is Canadian Army ...... Thanks! Bryan Morning Bryan T trade badges were issued in four grades. T, T wreath, T crown, T wreath and crown. It was generic and either represented a level of skill in a trade, or, for many different trades classified as "equal" in skill level. This changed depending on the time period.
