Remembered Today:

Ernest Frank Gregory - what regiment?

I was wondering if anyone could identify what regiment this man would have been in? The cap badge can't be seen easily, but here is what I know of Ernest - born 1896 in Bristol. His brother George Henry William Gregory served in the 1/6th Glosters (2470 & 265419). Down below is a picture of them together:

Hi

I cannot quite make out the shoulder title but it looks like RFA!

Regards

Arthur

Thanks Arthur, I found this marriage cert for an Ernest Gregory:

Looks like you are right about RFA - thanks for the help!

Shoulder title looks to be for a Territorial unit. T- RFA. ? (Gloucester a good possibility).

A close look with a magnifier may reveal more.

It does look a lot like T-RFA-GLOSTER, but my phone screen makes it difficult to be sure.
