When discharged in 1919 he claimed a pension- Malaria and GSW L Shldr. attrib

address 50 Hadleys Bldgs, Whiteheath, Oldbury. Born 1890, Married


Since 2nd Bn went to Salonika Nov 1915 then quite possibly he went with them and that's where he contracted malaria ?


But I note Medal Roll says although he started with 2nd bn, he subsequently served 1st then 9th Bns
