T, Fazzini Posted 5 February , 2020 Share Posted 5 February , 2020 (edited) Cant remember it now but there was a good website of World War I aviation photographs/postcards...one section was called "Death In the Air" showed a German postcard of a lone RAF Aviator grave beside his wrecked plane. He was either killed 1/1/1918 or at the beginning of Germans Last Great "Michael offense" March 1918.....Who was he? Yet even War is not without its grim humor..there was a German Postcard of a Human Skull wearing an aviator pilot cap with a German Mark money bill in its mouth...Ive also seen at least several pictures of World War I postacards of planes stuck in top of trees; a German fokker plane on top of a roof...
