Two of George Guynemer's 1917 credits...

On 23 January 1917 he shot two planes killing at least one of the aircrew....

Number 26  was a Albatros C

Number 27  was a Rumpler C of Field Artillery Unit 216

 

Who were the Enemy crews? Fate?

 

By the way there is a well phone photograph of Guynemer possing with enemy machine guns   [at least one is a Spandau and the other a parabelleum… story?]
