Present day reuse of Great War imagery

Here's an interesting reuse of a WWI recruitment poster seen in Dublin today.

Posting as seen, deliberately with no judgment about the organisation using it. I have opinions about them that I'll keep to myself

It is clever though...

This from the ‘Guardian’, which tells us, “ A waste management company named Dirty Harry uses a poster of Lord Kitchener to urge the public to recycle.

Probably never been a problem; the poster of  uncle Sam pointing was a copy of the famous K poster of three years earlier

According to Wikipedia, Alfred Leete died in 1933, so his work has been out of copyright since 1 January 2004.
