Remembered Today:

Sub Lt Tisdalls Men

NR72

Recommended Posts

I am trying to track down the service records and back ground of these men who assisted Sub Lt Tiisdall when he won his VC on V Beach Gallipoli in 1915

I know they received the CGM except for Curtiss who was reported missing  and I know 3 of them were Anson Bn  not sure on the Chief

LS Fred Curtiss – I can find no record of him

Chief Petty Officer (now Sub-Lieutenant) William Henry Perring, R.N.V.R.

Leading Seaman James Malia, K.P. 760.- Believed to be from Rotheram Area ?

Leading Seaman James Parkinson, K.P. 98.

Any assistance would be appreciated
