Hi all I wonder if I could ask another favour please , bought a trio to a local to me 4580 pte Cooke east lancs reg died 31/8/1918  found him on cwgc and on cotton mill site , apparently his papers survived and my hope was someone could please have a quick look to see if stated when wounded , I dont have ancestry and be a while before I can get to the library , cheeky ask I know but appreciate it if someone could please many thanks once again

Thanks very much to you all for the help and the title tweak ;) it is most appreciated and clears it up massively,, I believe hes laid to rest in Blackburn cemetery as i have work near there this week i shall see if i can locate his head stone thanks all again

When Ernest Cooke was born in 1893 in Penwortham, Lancashire, his father, Thomas, was 37 and his mother, Elizabeth, was 32. He had three brothers and five sisters. He died in 1918 in Lancashire, Lancashire, at the age of 25, and was buried in Blackburn, Lancashire.
