The photo is of my grandmother's husband, they separated in the late 1920s and never divorced. So she never married my granddad. Not 100% on his first name but I think it was Robert, What I do know is surname is Doughty and he served in the Norfolk regiment. He has chevron's and a downward stripe on his forearm.photo taken in India in about 1919-20 My grandmother's maiden name was kittle she was born in West flegg Norfolk Olive Evelyn 13th April 1893. Agricultural labourer and disabled serviceman. Married to Rose E. Thanks for all you research! Remarriage was very easy if you were somewhere away from those who knew you were married. Just make the declaration and no one was any the wiser.
