Webley W.G. ARMY MODEL proof marks?

Hello, I've recently acquired a Webley W.G. ARMY MODEL.  The cylinder serial number matches the frame and barrel and has not been shaved. The flutes of the cylinder are proof marked as shown in the photos.  Could one of the members tell me what the proof mark indicates.  Cheers, Bill

I'm late to this but the mark looks like the Birmingham Proof House stamp to me. You may have already found your answer and apologies if I'm incorrect.
