Good find Mike; I think I can identify a few but quite a lot are enigmatic. The Riqueval bridge is one that stands out, and there is one of a lonely monument on a blasted hillside which reminds me of the memorial which marks the site of the village of Fleury on the Verdun battlefield, but I wouldn't bet the ranch on it.

I have a few photos from my original glass negatives that were taken by a officer in 1919 and a army doctor in 1918. i can put a few more up if you would like.
