Peter35 Posted 20 January , 2020 Share Posted 20 January , 2020 (edited) I’ve come across these two acronyms in a 1913 Army Ordnance Gazette and have been unable to ‘decode’ them: “regulations which govern a P.O.O. with a field force to-day” “the instructions of the R.A.O.S. of 1912”. Could members assist, please? Further, I suspect an explanation of the actual terms themselves would not go astray, either. Ron Clifton Posted 20 January , 2020 Share Posted 20 January , 2020 P O O = Principal Ordnance Officer. The most senior ordnance officer with the force. R A O S = Regulations for Army Ordnance Services. The handbook for what the AOC do. Ron
