its says in the letter "at a place we call OZA" so might just be something a small group of people used

 

do you have a date for the letter ?  as no guesses I'll suggest Occupation Zone A but if it was before occupation its probably not that !

I believe it is a code referring to a railhead. I think this question has been asked...(edited) ... but not answered.

I searched OZA and didnt see anything - try searching  "railhead" as suggested

Apologies, it sounded familiar. For reference it is mentioned (link below) here but it was not answered.

 

I don't think the letters stood for anything but were used as a reference to a railhead. I've not seen a list referring to where each one was located.

The other capital a occurrences in the letter are more lower case in form, rounded not A. Could it be O.Z.H. with the verticals not parallel?
