15th (Service) Battalion, Durham Light Infantry

Hi All,

 

I was wondering if anyone can help me find a war diary for the 15th Bn DLI for August to October 1917?

 

I have access to Ancestry but just can not find anything. It is probably just me as I seem to struggle finding the diaries.

 

I'm trying to research a relative (James Forsyth) and this is the time he was killed.

 

Can anyone help?

I even tried the NA website but couldn't find it there either, as I say I really struggle finding diaries.

I searched using Durham Light Infantry as a Regiment and 15th Battalion as the sub unit, what did I do wrong?

Nothing. Sometimes the diaries are filed under Various Infantry Brigades (64th Brigade, 21st Division)
