Remembered Today:

Colchester newspapers

Would any newspapers from the Colchester (Essex) area have published lists of volunteers for the Army, or lists of locals wounded overseas, or lists of people coming back from the War afterwards? This could conceivably help me work out which bit of the RFA my grandfather was in.

Craig,

He was Eustace Alexander Taylor, driver, 82854. He arrived in Gallipoli on 27th. September 1915. He got the 1915 trio. That's all I know.

I have mentioned him in various other threads, but no-one has been able to help, but thanks for your interest.
