Garry Wills Posted 1 January , 2020 Share Posted 1 January , 2020 Happy New Year Gentlemen , I am looking for information on Pte Thomas Bertram Wills No 59644 He was my grandfather he enlisted on 27/12/1917 his regiment was the royal Fusiliers. His was discharged on 5/4/1919 Any information would be grateful as when discharged he was not fit for service,and my relatives said he was gassed in the trenches. corisande Posted 1 January , 2020 Share Posted 1 January , 2020 He served in France with 11 Royal Fus from 12 Jul 1918 to 15 Jul 1918 Then with 24 R Fus in France from 16 Jul to 26 Aug 1918 This was the point at which he was wounded he was in CCS for 2 days 25 Aug 1918 to 26 Aug 1918 .
