Cheshire22 Posted 1 January , 2020 Share Posted 1 January , 2020 In Bapaume Communal Cemetery is an Unknown Australian Soldier. the original cross carried 3812 Pte R M Jackman. ? A.I.F 21st May 1917. the CWGC records shows that he is buried in Bapaume Australian Cemetery and he served with the 1st Battalion but his records clearly show that he is buried in Bapaume Communal Cemetery and the DGR&E were aware of this on the 19th November 1917.
