The latest episode of BBC4's archaeology programme 'Digging for Britain'  (Series 8, Episode 3: South first shown 4/12/19, currently available on BBC iplayer) showed a very muddy archaeological investigation by the Thames Discovery Programme of the Museum of London Archaeology (MOLA)  of the remains of Elco Motor Launch ML286 (AKA 'Eothen') - said to be the last survivor of some 580 built as submarine chasers (in America) during WWI - which now lies derelict on the banks of the Thames at Isleworth.  Sadly, for a vessel which served during WW1 and was involved in the evacuation of Dunkirk in WWII, now in a very poor -  realistically beyond salvageable - state, but at least it is being thoroughly recorded.   3D Modelling (rotatable) of the remains can be viewed HERE
