keithfazzani Posted 3 December , 2019 Share Posted 3 December , 2019 I am reading a War Diary (7th Buffs) Christmas 1917. It states that "extras" at Christmas Dinners were provided from PRI funds. Anyone any idea what PRI funds were? Probably obvious, but not to me.
Terry_Reeves Posted 3 December , 2019 Share Posted 3 December , 2019 (edited) Keith PRI stands for President of the Regimental Institute. It was (and still is) a non-public, but accountable, unit welfare fund used to subsidise various welfare projects within a unit. The Commanding Officer was responsible for it.
