nicktamarensis Posted 24 November , 2019 Share Posted 24 November , 2019 Hello, I wonder if it would be possible to confirm the skill or trade badge of this member of the family who we believe was serving in the RHA. The photograph probably predates the Great War but we are not sure when - perhaps the style of the lanyard and pouches might help. The badge on his right arm we think is a cloth badge denoting he was a bit, saddle and harness specialist. Thanks very much. Nick.
charlie962 Posted 24 November , 2019 Share Posted 24 November , 2019 Nick That normally indicates a Saddler. Same badge used by RFA and RHA. He does not wear the typical RHA ball buttons so could he be RFA ? I cannot see clearly to read the shoulder title. Charlie
