Operational theatre of war 2a was Balkans -Greek Macedonia, Serbia, Bulgaria & European Turkey.

2b was Balkans - Gallipoli (Dardanelles).

Thanks for the reply, I did wonder what the 2(a) stood for. You don't happen to know what a French RX is? Just out of curiosity.

FRX is certainly British Committee French Red Cross. This particular Hill served with the Scottish Women's Hospitals Girton and Newnham Unit as a plaster cast maker !!
