2/Lt. J. A. Parker 1/9th Manchesters

PJS

I am trying to find the full name of this officer who was listed in the August 1914 Army List with the 1/9th Manchesters. Commissioned May 8, 1914 he must have been living in or very close to Ashton-under-Lyne at this time. He went to Egypt with the 1/9th in Sept 1914 and fought in Gallipoli. In June 1915 he was invalided to Alexandria suffering from Enteric Fever. After that I can find no trace of him.

If anyone can help properly identify him I would be very grateful.

Thank You

Peter
