I'm trying to find if there's a Pension Card for this man. Any help? Or isn't there one?

I have his Soldier Effects record. Paid to a Mrs Polly Johnstone.

He is said to have enlisted in Brentford.

Anymore links to his number etc etc?

Many Thanks

Paul

EDIT

Also, his MIC and Medal Rolls, where are those too?!

EDIT 2

Found his Medal Roll :)

EDIT 3

Finally found his MIC

G/26111. GS/26111. ancestry doesn't help with it's search facility!

Thanks for checking. Another pair of eyes always helps. ;) I couldn't find one either.

Just trying to find out who "Mrs Polly Johnstone" was - named on Soldier Effects - and her connection to F. Dean. An address would've helped! :)

Nothing in the 1911 Census connecting the names Dean or Johnstone to 35 Brook Road Brentford. Damn. :(

Is it possible that the entry in The National roll of The Great War has a misprint.

The 1911 Census gives 35 Brook Road South as Louisa Sanders age 48 a dressmaker & born Brentford, with her niece Louisa Florence age 26, a printers compositor, born Brentford, there is a Dean living next door at no 33 in 1911.

But a relation maybe at no 33 Brook Road, where there is a George William Dean, age 25 & born Brentford & working as a grocers carman.  He is lodging with the Patterson family & in 1912 marries their daughter Helen Louise. His father is Edward Bartlett Dean, a baker, who is living in Devon in 1911.

One of George's brothers, Pte Frederick Montague Dean is shown as dying 1st Nov 1919 at home at 10 Eastbourne Road of TB. His commeration at CWGC was in 2004. I realise this is not Frederick Dean G/2611 London regiment, but it may be a relation.

It is worth noting that Polly is a nickname for women called Mary, Mary Ann or Dorothy.

Polly Johnstone should also be the legatee mentioned with her address in his soldiers will, which is in this link (cost £ 1.80)
