Peter Bennett Posted 3 November , 2019 Share Posted 3 November , 2019 Can anyone please help with a date of Gazette for his MM, a newspaper article at the time of his death stated he was also awarded a Bar to his MM(I know these can be inaccurate) but CWGC only show the original award. Thank you Corporal DAVILL, HENRY Service Number 30318 Died 14/11/1918 Aged 21 9th Bn.King's Own Yorkshire Light Infantry M M Buried at CAUDRY BRITISH CEMETERY Location: Nord, France Number of casualties: 652 Cemetery/memorial reference: I. Stebie9173 Posted 3 November , 2019 Share Posted 3 November , 2019 His MM medal card hasn't been "barred" with a diagonal bar across it showing details of a reward of a Bar to the MM so I would say that is "only" one MM award. Steve.
