He had 3 service numbers -- 7311, 63239, 3234679. Medals received - 1914 Star with bar British War Medal Victory Medal (United Kingdom) General Service Medal with bar for Kurdistan and an Oak Leaf King George V Silver Jubilee Medal Long Service and Good Conduct Medal Meritorious Service Medal Born in 1883 and served rom November 1914 - and then re- enlisted in 1919.There is a note for which I cannot find any context. I don't know what it means or its significance. I think it reads as follows .....Brought to the notice of the Secretary of Stater for War, for valuable services rendered in connection with the war.Authy.
