I have a copy of the 9th Gordons War Diary.

The Battalion was formed on 9th September, 1914, at Aldershot.

They went through the 'teething troubles' as the officers and men went through training, etc.

The early months of the Diary are from September to December, 1914. These are in the form of typed notes.

The months of January to June, 1915, are missing.

The Battalion left for France on 9th July, 1915, and the remainder of the Diary from July, 1915, to May, 1919, is intact.

I know that they were not required to keep a War Diary until they went abroad, but does anyone have a copy of the War Diary which includes my 'missing months' of January to June, 1915?

Kindest Regards,
