Geoff White Posted 23 October , 2019 Share Posted 23 October , 2019 Hi folks For my dissertation I'm trying to find the exact date in October 1914 that Brigadier-General S P Rolt was invalided home and replaced by Stanley Maude. Rolt is mentioned in Smith-Dorrien's diary as still commanding 14 Brigade on 18 October and Maude is definitely in post by 25 October. A reference source would be greatly appreciated too! Many thanks Geoff White
