The first image I have seen of this memorial . I think we found only some broken brickwork there last year, (if I have the right location). This image is reproduced from the June 1932 edition of the Mosquito,  as scanned by the Salonika Campaign Society, see another thread regarding the Mosquito.

That's got to be correct. There was an article in that edition by or about an officer revisiting  and it mentions that the machine gun was still in place.

Not all the content is  as interesting to me, but I'm only up to 1932 at present.
