rolt968 Posted 12 October , 2019 Share Posted 12 October , 2019 (edited) Can anyone please decipher the name of the farm in Ontario written in red on this pension card: I wonder if this is it? (I have left it hidden so that it does not prejudice people's interpretations as I think it has mine.) MaxD Thank you, MaxD. That is what I thought. The link is to Fairknowe. There were four orphaned children all of whom arrived at Fairknowe at the age of 15 or 16. I have found each one on a ship's passenger list. Thank you very much for the link. That will be very helpful. I had not thought of the Canadian archives. I assume that C A Winter was an official at Fairknowe? RM
