Mark1959 Posted 7 October , 2019 Share Posted 7 October , 2019 (edited) FWR have a few transcribed records putting an RH Jewsbury RE as a Superintending Clerk in Belfast in early April 1915. WO Class 1 1915 army list shows seniority date of 9/4/15. If he did not leave the army until the late 1930s the MoD may still have his records. Any ideas what the Engineers might have been sent to do in Hong Kong and Belfast?

Mark is right, the MoD do appear to have what's left of his service record. There's some info on how to go about getting a copy here, and a helpdesk phone number here.
