This is not a British Army button, but might perhaps be from the Central powers.  Can you determine what emblem is on the button, is it an outspread Eagle?

It’s more like a four leaf clover

Possibly .... found right in the battlefield ploughed area.  But it could be anything

A simple four leafed clover does not suggest any military connection, but it is a popular civilian motif.
