Kimberley John Lindsay Posted 3 October , 2019 Share Posted 3 October , 2019 Dear Great War IA knowledgeables, 1) An Image of Lt-Col Kenneth Amber North, MC, is required by the holder of his IGS 1936-39 clasp North West Frontier 1936-37 (Lt-Col). 2) Served Great War as Lieut,. 24 Sikhs; Capt 32 Sikhs. Mesopotamia 1916-18; EEF Apr-Oct 1918. 3) Awarded MC (London Gazette 7 Feb 1918); MiD (London Gazette 12 Mar 1918). Major 18 Jan 1918. 4) Retired prior to WWII, but reactivated (War Office). Died in Kenya at a great age... His MC and 15 Trio have Gone Walkabout, sad to relate. Not awarded the 1935 Jubilee - but perhaps, as C. O, 5-8th Punjab Regt., a 1937 Coronation?
