JBee Posted 26 September , 2019 Share Posted 26 September , 2019 (edited) Not sure if anyone has watched this. I'm just in the middle of the first documentary 'Iron, iron, everywhere' and it's fascinating. Amongst other things it tells the story of British soldier Basil Henriques and 'tank banks' where the public could buy war bonds to help fund tank building. Lots of great original footage from various sources including Somme and Cambrai. Good footage of early prototypes, Renault builds and so on. A guy from Bovington tank museum features in it and is very watchable . See it if you can get Netflix. It's fab.
