Remembering my Great Grandfather Pte 4536 Thomas Godfrey, 4th Battalion City of London Regiment (Royal Fusiliers), who died of wounds on this day at 4th General Hospital, Camiers. Buried Etaples Military Cemetery.

He looks like a fun, cheeky chappy and just the type of person I would love to have had as a grand dad.  I hope he had time with his children before they lost him.
