daggers Posted 10 September , 2019 Share Posted 10 September , 2019 Thanks for the links. I was interested to read about the rugby match between two of the Liverpool Pals Battalions in December 1914, immediately after returning from a service of dedication of a new Pals memorial panel in the garden at St Nick's, Pier Head. Kimberley John Lindsay Posted 10 September , 2019 Share Posted 10 September , 2019 (edited) Dear Dave, In my Officers Only Collection, there are two Rugby (and possibly other types of Football) stalwarts: Lieut. John Patrick O'Shea, IARO and Burma Ford Vans (and MiD for Kurdistan), and Capt Christopher Wm. Lacey, IARO and Labour Corps 8South Persia). O'Shea is to be seen in Calcutta, 1910; Lacey is seated far right: Bedford School Rugby 1908-09. Kindest regards, Kim.
