Personally I wouldn't keep them in plastic envelopes,  they CAN sweat and the medals , particularly the victory, can be effected. Learnt this the hard way 

 

I've used brown paper envelopes (like pay packets back in the day ) and not had any issues in years

Cheers  for the advice.  I've got lots medals for the boer war ww1 & ww2

All in plastic wallets in a display cabinet.  Is it ok to display them unprotected?
