Some interesting abbreviations there.  How is the lettering applied, as there seem to be gaps in the detail of rank and regiment.  Do dots mean ditto?

I didn't look closely at the lettering but I would agree the dots are dittos

Interesting to see the word ‘Pals’ for several them, can’t say I’ve ever seen the term used on a memorial or RoH before. The dots are definitely ditto marks.
