Steve1871 Posted 28 August , 2019 Posted 28 August , 2019 The U.S. Did not have a shortage of Bayonet's and the Krag, everyone believes did not see combat in Great War. Only a small number of engineer company's , I believe came to England, then were re- armed before going to the field. Either post war, or someone bought surplus and made a knife out of it. Turkey, being the main country to cut down / convert Bayonet's , most - interwar, never used the Krag or it's bayonet
